Description
The Dungs VPS 504 S02 gas tightness monitoring unit with a 230 V / 50 Hz plug, art: 219877 is used in gas combustion systems to monitor the leak-tightness of multifunctional solenoid valves. Complies with the European standard EN 1643. Does not require additional adjustment at the installation site. Designed for a maximum gas pressure in the line of 500 mbar. The leak-tightness of the valves is checked by pressurizing the space between the valves.
Features and main characteristics:
- operation from a 220 V, -15%, +10%, 60 Hz electrical network;
- control volume: from 0.1 to 4 l;
- leak tightness testing duration: from 10 to 26 seconds;
- for monitoring solenoid shut-off valves of class A and B according to EN 161;
- signal lamp to inform about the tightness/leak-tightness of the system;
- protection against dust and moisture penetration according to IP 40 standard;
- maximum pressure in the gas pipeline – 500 mbar;
- temperature range: -15...+70 °C, do not allow condensation, icing;
- housing made of impact-resistant polymer;
- built-in replaceable fuse in the housing;
- mounting to the fittings in a vertical, horizontal orientation, without inverting;
- fixing with 4 screws on the fitting housing;
- connection via a 7-pin plug connection.
You can buy a gas tightness monitoring unit with additional components (separate order).
Working environment
The Dungs control system is suitable for working with gases of group 1-3, gas obtained from wastewater treatment, processing of organic waste and biogas (dry, H2S < 0.1 vol. %). It is not allowed to use the gas tightness monitoring unit for gas containing more than 60% butane.
Application
The VPS leak tightness monitoring unit checks for leaks during the operation of DMV multifunctional solenoid valves, Dungs universal gas blocks. The check is carried out before the burner is started, during pre-purging or after the end of heat supply.
