Ecoflam VPS 504 S02 Hermeticity Control Unit

The Ecoflam VPS 504 S02 leak control unit, art: 65323657 is part of the safety system of a gas industrial installation. It monitors the performance of multifunctional solenoid valves to prevent leaks and minimize the risk of accidents. In case of loss of tightness of one of the valves, the automation blocks the gas supply, stops the operation of the burner. VPS is certified according to European standard EN 1643. It does not require additional configuration during installation. Designed for maximum gas pressure of 500 mbar. The leak test process is carried out by pressurizing the inter-valve space.

Working environment

The VPS valve leak control system is designed for industrial installations burning gas of family 1-3, gas obtained during wastewater treatment, processing of organic waste, biogas (dry, H2S <0.1% volume). It is not permissible to use for gases containing more than 60% butane.

Application

The VPS leak control unit is used to test the condition of DMV solenoid valves, Dungs universal gas blocks. The check is performed before each burner start-up, during the pre-purge period, or after the combustion process has stopped.
