Design features and filter equipment

Piusi filter for fuel and oil 100l/min is a linear cartridge filter consisting of a replaceable cartridge and an adapter.

The cartridge has a metal casing inside which the filtering element is placed. It is non-separable and cannot be cleaned or restored. It belongs to the spin-on type, which determines the simplicity and convenience of its replacement.

The adapter serves to install the filter in the gasoline, oil or diesel fuel pumping system. It is mounted in the delivery line of the fuel dispensing column using a threaded (inlet and outlet openings 25mm) or flanged connection. If necessary, the filter can be installed before the pump, on the suction side.

Operating parameters and cartridge replacement

Excellent throughput (up to 100 l/min) allows it to be installed on high-performance fuel dispensing columns, and a filtration rate of 10 μm guarantees high-quality cleaning of the pumped oil or fuel.

If the filter is heavily contaminated, its performance decreases, and accordingly, the flow rate of the column on which it is installed decreases. Therefore, periodic cartridge replacement is required.

The working life of this filter for diesel fuel, gasoline and oil depends on the pumped volumes of fuel and the degree of its contamination. To extend the life of the cartridge and ensure trouble-free operation of the pumping complex, it is necessary to pre-clean the fuel at the inlet to the system. For this, we recommend using a coarse filter on the suction side.
