Purpose
The degree of purification of fuel and oil used to refuel modern equipment has a huge impact on the efficiency of its functioning. When organizing departmental refueling, the task of high-quality fuel purification becomes one of the most important. Installing this filter on a mini gas station is a very simple and convenient solution with a minimum of labor costs and material investments.
Filter supply, its installation and replacement
The Piusi filter for fuel and oil supply kit includes a replaceable cartridge in a metal casing and a filter adapter necessary for its installation in the fuel dispensing system.
The adapter can be mounted both in the suction and in the discharge line. The second mounting option is preferred. The inlet and outlet openings with a thread simultaneously serve for the passage of the fuel flow and for fixing the adapter. Their diameter is 1” (25 mm). For ease of installation, a flanged connection is also provided.
The replaceable cartridge is screwed onto the adapter already mounted in the fuel line. That is, the installation and replacement of the filter is simple, quick and without dismantling the system.
If the cartridge is heavily contaminated, its flow capacity decreases, which also reduces the performance of the column. In this case, the filter must be replaced.
In order for the fine filter to need to be replaced as rarely as possible, it is recommended to install a coarse filter in the suction line, which does not allow large solid particles to enter the system.
Working parameters
The filter is characterized by a high degree of filtration (10 microns) of oil, gasoline and diesel fuel and can be installed on any mini gas station with a flow rate of not more than 60 l/min.
