Description
The Riello VPS 504 S02 leak control unit, art: 3012220 is certified according to European standard EN 1643. It ensures the safe operation of a gas-burning industrial installation. It does not require additional adjustments during on-site installation. It monitors the tightness of multifunctional solenoid valves, prevents leaks and emergency situations. In case of detecting depressurization of one of the valves, the automation shuts off the gas supply to the burner, activates emergency mode and signaling. The leak test is performed by pressurizing the inter-valve space.

Working environment
The VPS unit is integrated into industrial systems burning gas of family 1-3, gas obtained during wastewater treatment or processing of organic waste. Suitable for dry biogas with H2S content <0.1%. It is forbidden to use it for gaseous media containing more than 60% butane.
Application
The VPS leak control unit is used to check for leaks of e/m multifunctional DMV valves, universal gas blocks Dungs. Leak testing is performed before each burner start-up, during pre-purging or after the end of the combustion process.
