Description
The FG-100G filter model is manufactured by the Spanish industrial concern Gespasa, which has a history dating back to 1974 and is constantly improving its production and products. An example of this is the improvement of the previous modification of the offered fine filter for gasoline, diesel fuel and kerosene, which was in great demand and, in principle, did not require modernization. But the manufacturer made changes to the design
Design change
The main difference from the discontinued filter is a more universal mounting of the inlet and outlet pipeline. Previously, this was only a threaded connection. In the new version, in addition to the thread, the possibility of a flanged connection of fuel lines has been added.
The remaining, well-proven elements of the design remained unchanged.
Device and комплектация
The fine filter for diesel fuel, gasoline and kerosene consists of several parts:
- a lid with inlet and outlet openings with a diameter of 25 mm (1 inch) and the possibility of a flanged connection;
- a removable flask made of durable plastic with a volume of 2 liters;
- a tap at the bottom of the flask for draining water emulsion and fine debris;
- a replaceable filter cartridge;
- the kit includes a special wrench for unscrewing the flask.
Technical parameters
FG-100G can be installed on almost any type of fuel pumping equipment with a capacity of up to 105 l/min.
It is imperative to consider that the filter-separator can withstand a pressure of up to 5 Bar and is therefore mounted on the suction line in front of the pump.
Deep fuel cleaning (5 microns) and a high degree of water separation (93%) allow to obtain high-quality fuel at the outlet.
The maximum cartridge resource is up to 500,000 liters. But the duration of its use significantly depends on the degree of contamination of the pumped liquids.
