Description

The Siemens QRB1B-A033B40B infrared flame sensor monitors the combustion of yellow flames of liquid fuels in the visible light range. It connects to the Siemens automation unit with an intermittent cycle, signaling the presence/extinction of flame to control the fuel supply to the burner. It is characterized by high sensitivity, compact size, vibration-resistant mounting, and a wide field of view.

The sensor is designed to work with LAL/ LOA/ LMO/ LMV type burner automatics. It is assembled in a compact housing 50 mm long, to which a 2-core cable made of thermoplastic material 330 mm long is rigidly connected. The cable is used to connect the sensor to the burner automatic. The sensitive element is a built-in photoresistor. A soft plastic retainer is used to mount the sensor on the burner. Due to the sealing and connecting ribs of the mounting insert, the sensor is securely held in the burner hole. A guide spring allows precise centering of the photoresistive element relative to the flame.

Important!

Photoresistive flame sensors for Siemens QRB1 burners can see parts of the emission spectrum coming from extraneous sources (lamps in the boiler room, fireclay brick, sunlight, etc.), which requires mandatory compliance with measures to protect against light interference during installation of flame control devices.
